Congrats to Hayley Bolland, from Ascot, Berkshire, who passed her driving test in Slough today on her First Attempt with just 2 driver faults. Hayley was asked to do a parallel park, Hayley’s sister also passed a few years ago with Blue and she also passed first time, as well. The driving test is straightforward. It is designed to see if you can drive safely, know the Highway Code and can demonstrate this through your driving. Test routes are designed to be as uniform as possible and include a range of typical road and traffic conditions. You will be given directions and also be allowed to drive independently for 10 minutes by the Driving Examiner and asked to carry out set exercises; this will be one reverse manoeuvre, of the four below:

Turn in the Road
Reverse around a corner
Reverse Parallel or Bay Reverse Park

and maybe an emergency stop. The driving test lasts approximately 38 / 40 minutes
