You’re also going to have to think about how much the insurance on the car is going to be. It’s all well and good actually purchasing the car, but if you can’t afford to insure it, then it’s going to be for nothing. Insurance can be extremely expensive for people who have just passed their test because most accidents happen within the first year of driving.

Running Costs
But, it’s not just the insurance and the car itself you’re going to have to think about, it’s also the cost of running the car. You’re going to need fuel constantly, if there are any problems with the car, you’ve got to pay to get it fixed, breakdown cover is something you really need and there is a whole host of other costs to consider. It’s not cheap, so you’ve got to work out what the cheapest car for all of this is going to be before you make a purchase.
