Top Tips After You Have Passed Your Driving Test

Number one is the fact that in the two years after you first pass your driving test, you are on probation and the quickest way to notch up those dreaded points is speeding. Any Magistrate will automatically give you three points for speeding and has the power to increase those points for any other factors he or she may consider to be relevant, such as a bald tyre. Any car you buy must therefore be in good order throughout, or you must be prepared to rectify any problems before you take to the road in it.
Devina Passes her driving test in Reading, Berkshire

Devina recently contacted Blue, having previously taken four practical driving tests without success. Following an assessment and some further training with instructor, David Shephard, she has now successfully passed her test on her 1st attempt since starting lessons with Blue some 4 weeks ago.

Wow! I passed first time at Reading and only got 6 minors. My examiner, Nikki, was really nice & the test was over in no time at all. I did a reverse park and also had to do an emergency stop which went fine. Many thanks to David from Blue. He’s a really great instructor & was so patient & supportive throughout.

Just passed my test at Reading Im so happy! I got 7 minors & had to do a left reverse for my manoeuvre. The Independent driving section went fine & I was so relieved when I was told the end result. My Blue instructor, David, was really helpful & supportive in getting me prepared for the test. I’ll recommend him to all my friends.

Euan M from Warfield, Bracknell passed his practical driving test today in Farnborough with Nick(Examiner) and got only Three minor faults and passed first time just like my mate Luke who also passed with Peter from Blue a few weeks ago. Katie Passes Her Driving Test

Katie who had driving lessons in Bracknell passed today with only four minor faults, Katie did think she had failed and was overjoyed to learn that she had passed her driving test First Time. Nick the driving examiner in Farnborough was very nice and put me at ease throughout the driving test. Thanks so much to Peter at BLue for all his great help.

Your practical driving test will include approximately ten minutes of independent driving. This is designed to assess your ability to drive safely while making decisions independently. The examiner may show you a diagram detailing a route which you will have memorize and follow or you may be given a particular signed route to follow. At any point during this route if you forget where you are going you may ask the examiner to clarify the route.
